Add a Patio

The trend of having separate outdoor seating areas has become increasingly popular. Patios come in a range of different styles and shapes and are a great way of adding character to your outdoor space. We particularly like the Mediterranean style patios, which include beautiful day beds and low sofas. Or if a more traditional design suits you, then opt for ornate metal tables and chairs to incorporate that Parisian style.

Build a Conservatory

Adding a conservatory on to your property is a simple and effective way to add both value and space onto your home. These summer months are the perfect time to build a conservatory and allow you to enjoy the bright, warm summer nights. The purpose can vary dependant on personal needs, but a conservatory can double up as an extra lounge, dining area or gym.

Open Plan Living

The trend of open plan living looks to remain popular for many years to come – so if you have been debating knocking a few walls down, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Open plan living spaces are excellent for entertaining. You can also include the living room into the open plan to add more flowing space. There are multiple ways to separate different areas without walls and doors. This allows open space to be very welcoming and allows for a lot of natural light to fill the room.

Shed Renovation/Clear out

This is an important task to do during the summer months and it doesn’t cost a penny. Sheds and outhouses often get forgotten about during the winter months and get cluttered with junk.
Now the summer months are here and you will need to start using your shed, it is time to spruce it up. Get rid of any junk and make sure you are well equipped for the regular garden maintenance. Adding some simple shelving can make the shed much more organised. However, if you are looking for a more challenging project then why not completely renovate your shed into a studio or games room. If you believe that this space can be used more effectively, now is the best time of year to do it. It is becoming very popular for homeowners to convert their shed into an extra usable space. You can benefit from the garden views too!
